The GLP Light Production GmbH Lichteffekt- und Beleuchtungsgeräte-Vertrieb (GLP GmbH) was founded in 1994 by Udo Kuenzler. In the last years, GLP has established itself as manufacturer of high-quality, innovative and intelligent spotlights in the professional lighting market.
GLP GmbH can be described as one of the leading manufacturers of high-class lighting technology. GLP is driven by the dialogue with its customers to permanent product innovation.
Today, GLP Products are in use for example in TV-Shows, concerts, in nightclubs, on booths and other events. The product range includes, besides professional spotlights and architectural lighting, as well as their controllers.
Places of business are in Karlsbad (Germany) and in Levoca (GLP Slovakia s.r.o.).
In April 2006 GLP GmbH was taken over by Cairos technologies AG. The acquisition creates synergy effects for both companies in the field of innovative product development.
